Charter schools have changed and improved the education landscape in Arizona. We’re a non-partisan education think tank dedicated to making sure improvements continue. We’re made up of current and former K-12 educators and education researchers looking to move education forward.

We aren’t buying all the media-frenzied hype around charters. But we do have some ideas for reform, accountability and continued success for Arizona charter schools.

We’ve seen some outrageous claims about charter schools. Some true, most not. We’ll do whatever it takes to fact-check those claims and share our findings.

There have been calls to get rid of charter schools altogether. This would be a huge mistake. Charter schools have made innovations in education that aren’t possible in the red-tape infused traditional public school system.
